We advance each dog
using time tested, gentle
handed techniques while
incorporating the lastest
cutting edge methods,
which build a foundation
that will last a lifetime for
that true bragging rights
gundog.
It is also very important for owners to take the time, once their dog is trained, to come out and work with us to
learn how to handle their newel trained gundog.
This is a very important step in you becoming a "PACK" with your dog and a easier transition if the owner truly
is "IN TUNE" with what their gundog is capable of.

type of cover where wild birds would be found. Formal Training always includes continual

Premier Gundogs has developed a very successful training program for
pointing dogs.  The program is set in two stages,  Foundation Young Dog
Development & Formal Training. With Foundation work the youngster must
learn "How to become a Bird Dog", issues like prey drive, stauchness on
point, desire to carry birds & tracking ability must be developed at a young
age and with lots of practice. Formal Training is taking what they know and
adding in what we want. It is for a truly finished gundog.
