Premier Gundogs has developed a very successful training program for all breeds of pointing dogs. The
program is designed to train your dog to a "True" hunting level. Our building block training programs allow us to
meet the needs of each individual dog. Our time-tested, low pressure training methods set your pointing dog up
to succeed which helps build confidence and develop the dog's natural hunting and pointing instincts.
We understand the needs of our customers, from avid hunters to the most serious hunt test handlers. Our
training programs include foundation puppy & young dog development as well as started to finished pointing dog
training for a true bragging rights gundog.
The programs are designed based on age, type of hunting done and level of training desired.
The program is set in two stages, Foundation Young Dog Development & Formal Training.
Foundation Training teaches the youngster "How to become a Bird Dog", issues like prey drive, stauchness on
point, desire to carry birds & tracking ability must be developed at a young age and with lots of practice.
Formal Training is taking what they know and adding in what we want. Each program is designed to fit the needs
of the customer and the abilities of the dog. We offer started all the way through to a truly finished gundog.
