There is an old saying, " a dog is a man's best friend". While this does
seem to be true, knowing of stories of how canines have rescued MANY
from fires, floods, etc., and we also know of service dogs, that will give
their life for policemen & soldiers, lead the impaired and find the missing
person.
But with all these things our canines can do, I encourage you to get to
know the One that Created, these dogs we love.
God, because of His great love for us, sent His only Son, to give us eternal
life. Jesus, said," I am the Way, the Truth and the Life, no one comes to
the Father except through Me".
Truth is, we need Jesus more than we think. Just like our dogs need us.
If you ask Him, God will not only forgive you of your sins and give you
eternal life but also will become Master of your life.
Just like a dog needs a master to care for them, so it is true with us.
It is not always easy to trust God as Master, just like it is hard at times for
our dogs to trust and obey us but He is always there for us and knows
what is best for us.
Jesus also said, "Come to Me, all you who are weary and heavy laden, and
I will give you rest, for My load is easy and My yoke is light"
Thats a promise that you just can't ignore. He does it all for us.
Why wait any longer. Let God be Lord and Master of your life........
